For vehicles to be sold in the United States, they need to comply with the applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). Manufacturers are required to self-certify compliance against these requirements however sometimes, these tests require specialist equipment and skills.

HORIBA MIRA is well equipped to offer a test service to a series of FMVSS standards (as denoted on this site) and will generate reports that can be used to assist manufacturers in declaring compliance.
