What is Euro 7?
Euro 7 is the latest EU regulation on vehicle emissions, replacing both Euro 6 (cars/vans) and Euro VI (buses/lorries). It applies to all fuel types and vehicle categories and introduces:
- Stricter pollutant limits across more driving conditions
- Regulation of brake and tyre particle emissions
- EV battery durability targets (SoH after 5 and 8 years)
- Mandatory Onboard Monitoring (OBM) of emissions
